The Battle of Baitag Bogd Mountain or Beitashan Incident was a border conflict between China, Mongolia, and the Soviet Union. The Mongolian People’s Republic became involved in a border dispute with the Republic of China, as a Chinese Muslim Hui cavalry regiment was sent by the Chinese government to attack Mongolian and Soviet positions.
